TARA SHAKTI ART CURATOR
In addition to her work as an artist, Tara has been appointed as the permanent curator for the new private initiative Artistes Malgaches, which focuses on promoting artists from the Indian Ocean region and Madagascar on the global stage.
As part of this role, she curated their first exhibition, Les Veines de la Terre, during the ZAMA event. This exhibition featured the works of five talented artists from the initiative, highlighting their unique perspectives and cultural narratives. Tara’s curatorial vision for Les Veines de la Terre emphasized the deep connection between the artists and the land, exploring themes of heritage, identity, and the environment. Through this initiative, she plays a key role in bringing the vibrant art of the Indian Ocean region and Madagascar to an international audience.
WEARABLE ART
Tara has launched in Venice 2022 a line of wearable art prints available for pre-order, featuring her artwork printed on T-shirts, tote bags, scarves, and especially watches—a personal favorite of hers. This initiative stems from her vision of making art accessible to all budgets and allowing people to carry a piece of Madagascar with them wherever they go. Each item is not just an accessory but a statement, embodying the beauty and cultural richness of her homeland while connecting art lovers to her work in an intimate, everyday way.

Art on the Moon
Lunar Codex Project
I am honored to have my works selected by Canadian physicist Samuel Peralta, founder of the Lunar Codex Project: they will now be part of the Polaris Collection and forever archived on the Moon, a place of eternity. Among 35,000 artists chosen worldwide, my creations join this unique collection, becoming a timeless capsule preserved for future generations beyond our planet. It is an invaluable privilege to contribute to this lunar venture, where art and exploration meet at the heart of infinity.
